MEET KATE

From the salon floor to the Bar

Katie Petrie, known to everyone as Kate, started at Toni & Guy at 17 and opened her own salon, Headkandy Hair and Beauty, in 2019. Now she’s made a career change into law: she’s an Open University law student on her way to the Bar.

Kate’s Debates is where she practises the skills every advocate needs: thinking on her feet, building an argument and seeing both sides.
